According to the notification, there are some basic eligibility criteria that an applying candidate must possess. These criteria includes candidate’s nationality, age, educational qualification, language proficiency or any other skills. Nationality
The Nationality requirement for the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) Veterinary Officer/Block Veterinary Officer Recruitment is that candidates must be Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India. Additionally, they should be permanent residents of Assam. A valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purposes or an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate can serve as proof of residency.
Educational Qualification
A candidate must have at least a Degree in Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science from any recognized university or institution.
Age Limit (as on 01/01/2024 )
The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2024. Age Relaxation as given below :-
- SC: 5 years (Upto 43 Years)
- ST: 5 years (Upto 43 Years)
- OBC/ MOBC: 3 years (Upto 41 Years)
- PwBD: 10 years
The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the ClassX/Xll Examination Admit Card/Pass Certificate/ Mark Sheet issued by a recognized Centralistate Board/Council where Age/Date of Birth (DOB) is clearly reflected.
No other document shall be accepted in lieu of the above mentioned documents for age proof.
APSC Veterinary Recruitment Selection Process
