State Eligibility Test 2024 Syllabus
Candidates will encounter these question formats across both Paper I and Paper II of the SLET examination. This diverse range of question types aims to comprehensively assess candidates’ knowledge and understanding of the subject matter being tested.
State Eligibility Test (SET), 2024 will be conducted on 17th March 2024 (Sunday) in two sessions for both papers
Paper-I of the State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) is dedicated to assessing the general aptitude of the candidate for teaching and research purposes. It is structured to evaluate the candidate’s reasoning ability, comprehension skills, divergent thinking capabilities, and overall awareness.
On the other hand, Paper-II consists of 100 objective-type questions specifically focused on the chosen subject. Each question in Paper-II carries 2 marks, and there is no negative marking. This paper aims to assess the candidate’s in-depth knowledge and understanding of the subject area.
Additionally, there is a provision for compensatory time in both Paper-I and Paper-II for visually impaired candidates and candidates with writing disabilities. These candidates are provided with an extra 20 minutes of compensatory time to ensure they have sufficient opportunity to complete the examination. This provision aligns with the principles of inclusivity and accessibility, ensuring that all candidates have a fair chance to demonstrate their abilities during the SLET examination.
