DEE LP UP Teacher Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
According to the released notification, candidates must possess the following eligibility criteria before applying for the teacher posts at LP and UP schools in Assam:.
Age Limit: As of January 1, 2023, a candidate must be at least 18 years old and not older than 40 years for the unreserved category, 42 years old for veterans, 43 years old for OBC/MOBC, 45 years old for SC/ST(P)/ST(H), and 50 years old for people with disabilities (PwBD).

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have qualified Assam TET or CTET in order to apply for the LP and UP School Teacher posts. 4. Hindi Teacher (UP) Qualification | Graduate from a university recognized by the UGC with a 2-year diploma in elementary education, a B. Ed. or D. Ed. (special education), or a B. Ed. (special education) with Hindi as one of your courses |
Small Family Norms: No person having more than two living children on or after 01/01/2021 from a single or multiple partners shall be eligible for appointment as per the Govt. policy on Small Family Norms .
Medium of Instruction: Either the Language-I or the Language-II of both ATET and CTET candidates shall match the medium of instruction of the school wherein the candidate wishes to apply
DEE LP UP Teacher Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
According to the official notification released by the Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam, the selection of the candidates shall be strictly in order of merit, considering the reservation for OBC, MOBC, SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/PWD etc.
There will not be any examination for the selection of the posts. Selection will only be done on the basis of the merit of the candidates.
DEE LP UP Teacher Recruitment 2024 Salary
Candidates who are selected under this recruitment will be placed in the pay band-2 (PB-2) of Rs 14,000 to Rs 70,000 and there are also other allowances as admissible as per “The Assam Service (Revision of Pay) (Amendment) Rules, 2019
