Cotton University PG Entrance Test 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree with Honours/Major from a recognized university. Final year undergraduate students who are appearing in their exams in 2024 are also eligible to apply.
- Gap in Study: Candidates with more than a 3-year gap from their qualifying exam are not eligible for admission, except for the LLM program.
Reservation
The reservation policy will follow the rules set by the Government of Assam.
Application Process
- Mode of Application: Online only through Cotton University Admissions Portal. Offline submissions are not accepted.
- Application Fee: INR 800.00, payable online.
Admission Criteria
- Cotton Graduates (2024 or 2023 batches):
- 50% of seats reserved for Cotton graduates will be based on CGPA (Core) score obtained in the undergraduate examination.
- For MCJ, a personal interview is also required.
- Open Category (Graduates from any recognized institution):
- Admission based on scores from the Cotton Post-Graduate Entrance Examination (CPGEE-2024). MCJ also requires a personal interview.
- For MSc in MBBT, admission is based on GAT-B-2024 scores.

- Entrance Exam Fee: INR 800.00 (Non-refundable)
- Tentative Exam Date: First week of July 2024 (Final dates will be notified on the university website)
