AAI Recruitment 2024 selection process
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Age and all other eligibility criteria shall be reckoned as on 01.05.2024.
- Only candidates who appeared in GATE‐2024 in the relevant disciplines with respective engineering degree/MCA and have registered their applications on the portal of AAI, and are eligible in all respects, shall be considered for further selection process.
- Application Verification:
- Candidates shall be shortlisted for Application Verification based on the details furnished in the application form.
- Verification of eligibility claims will be done at the time of Application Verification.
- Candidates shortlisted for Application Verification will have their application numbers posted on the AAI website, and call letters will be sent to their registered e‐mail IDs.
- Documents Verification:
- During Application Verification, candidates must produce original certificates along with proof of identity and self‐attested photocopies.
- Candidates already employed in Central Government/State Government/Autonomous Body/Public Sector Undertaking must produce a “No Objection Certificate” from their present employer.
- Candidates failing to produce original documents at the time of verification will have their candidature rejected.
- Merit List and Final Selection:
- Provisional selection will be made based on the merit list prepared on the basis of GATE Score obtained by candidates.
- In case of tie, resolution will be based on GATE scores, age, and marks in the qualifying degree.
- Reserved category candidates selected on the basis of norms applicable to the Unreserved Category will be treated at par with Unreserved Category candidates.
- Appointment Process:
