NEET Exam 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an official notification regarding NEET (UG) 2024. NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) has been conducted by NTA with the endorsement of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Ministry of Education (formerly known as the Ministry of Human Resource Development). This year, NTA will administer NEET UG 2024 for admissions to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, and BHMS courses.
NEET UG 2024 – Registration
THIS YEAR [NEET(UG)-2024] will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday, 05 May 2024(Sunday) in Pen and Paper mode in 13 languages, as a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test [(NEET (UG)] for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions.

Educational Qualification
The eligibility criteria for NEET 2024 (UG) states that candidate must have passed physics, chemistry, biology/ biotechnology ,and English individually at the 10+2 level. They should also have obtain 50% marks in physics, chemistry and biology/ biotechnology combined.
However ,for candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD or other backward classes, the minimum required mark in physics, chemistry and biology/ biotechnology combined are 40% instead of 50%.

THE TEST PATTERN FOR NEET(UG)2024 CONSISTS OF FOUR SUNJECT,EACH WITH TWO SECTIONS,SECTION A COMPRISES 35 QUESTION,WHILE SECTION B CONTAINS 15 QUESTIONS,OUT OF WHICH CANDIDATES CAN CHOSE TO ATTEMT ANY 10 QUESTIONS.THIS FORMATE ENSURE THE THE TOTAL NUMBER OF QUESTION AND THEIR TIME UTILIZATION REMAIN SAME.
